All Peer-to-Peer applications are illegal, if the files you are sharing are copyrighted.

thats not correct. Limewire is not illegal. If you use Limewire to move legal files then the concept of peer to peer is fine. Problem is most people use it to move files (music, movies, etc) that are copywritten and thats illegal.

Limewire is perfectly legal. what is illegal is the users sharing protected material. If you record your own original music and use P2P software to send it around that is fine.
