I'm 29 years old.6'0 ft.207 lbs, trying to get to 175 or 180 accoring to the body max index .I think my heart rate zone is 120 or higher in order to burn fat,my question is how long am I suppose keep it at that rate?or would it be the same to walk/jog 10 miles everyday and still lose weight.

You need to keep your heart rate between 114-125 as this is your fat burning zone. Try to do this for 45-60 minutes because for every minute you go past 30 minutes you are burning fat. If you get your heart rate to high (over 135) then you are mainly burning sugar and not fat.

You keep it that rate for a minimum of 30 minutes. The longer the better. Your target heart rate is between 115 and 154 bpm.
