Kool Aid did the trick for me and my friends back in high school.

Get a small PERSONAL bottle of shampoo and pour a packet of Koolaid inside. Shake it up real well. Everytime you wash your hair the color will deepen. And you'll have that nice fruity smell to your hair. Once you stop using it. It will eventually wash out. But it will take more than one washing to wash out. It does not come out looking like a permanent color. More like a rinse.

I've heard of using kool-aid, but have no idea how it's done.

I had a friend who used colored permanent markers to do streaks in her hair. It washed out in one or two shampoos.

You can also use perioxide or lemon juice to lighten your hair. Then use your hair dryer, as the heat will help it work. But this doesn't wash out.

Don't waste your time using stuff from home and freaking out and mixing it all together that would freak me out. Just buy some Loreal coloring mouse. It comes in different colors and washes out after a couple of washes. Or try something else that you can buy and you won't have to worry about killing your hair.

Bleach and those Koolaid packets, but it won't wash out, more permanant.
1. Bleach hair white
2. Use Koolaid

Not so sure on the process of getting the ingrediants in your hair.

If you only need it for a few hours color it with washable markers. This works well for costumes.

Kool-aid. And do it outside, because it will leave a mess in your bathroom.
