Carolina Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
3/4 cup yellow mustard
3/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 ½ tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 teaspoons ground black pepper
½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
In a medium saucepan, combine ingredients, stirring to blend. Over low heat, simmer 30 minutes. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before using.

Believe it or not I have tried this and it's fantastic!!!
Blueberry BBQ Sauce
2 qt Fresh or frozen blueberries
1 1/2 C. Chopped celery
1 1/2 C. Chopped onion
1 1/2 C. Chopped green pepper
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 Carrot, minced
1 1/2 t. Salt
1 1/2 t. Pepper
1/2 - 1 cup honey
2 T. Molasses
1 C. Vinegar
1 T. Paprika
1 t. Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon ginger
Cayenne pepper to taste
Thaw blueberries if frozen; do not drain. Puree berries. Combine celery, onions, green pepper, garlic and carrots in large saucepan; add honey, molasses, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices.
Add pureed berries; mix well. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Refrigerate until needed, serve warm with grilled meats.

Mine is not homemade, but its real good. Mix 50/50 Woody's cookin sauce with Stubb's regular bbq sauce, about 1/4 of the bear bottle honey, and a splash of tabasco. It is gooood.

1/2 cup parsley, dried
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 cup dry white wine
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
2 cups ketchup
1/2 tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce
PREPARATION:
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, over very low heat for 2 to 3 hours.

try taking any generic bbq sauce and adding brown sugar, minced garlic and some stuff called liquid smoke. tweek it to your taste and enjoy. i have made my own many times and love liquid smoke for its flavor. you can buy it at your local wal-mart, top shelf by the bbq sauces. good luck and happy holidays=)

Granny's Steamboat Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
3 tbs Garlic chilli sauce
2 tbs sweet thai chilli sauce
1 tbs tomato paste
4 tbs hot water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ajimonoto
3 tbs sesame seed
2 tbs chopped parsley
DIRECTIONS:
1)Mix all the sauces together and add hot water.
2)Stir until smooth.
3)Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
