My advice is plain & simple: Everyone has a 6-pack..its just hidden underneath all the fat.
2 most important criteria: DIET & EXERCISE
Excercises to take of the fat: chose any of the below once per day
1) Running 2-3 miles daily (can be broken up into 1 mile increments w/ short breaks in between)
2) swimming for 30min to 1 hr/day
3) playing basketball for 1 or more hrs /day
4) any type of aerobic fitness
Tip: it's good to mix stuff up during the week to break up monotonous activity
KEY is to get your Heart rate up and keep it up.
Wieght training will NOT get you abs, it will only increase the size of your abdominal muscles, but if FAT is overlying them, it just makes you look fatter!
DIET: cut out carbs & fat to lower overall calories. DO this in a gradual fashion. Try to eat more salads and less pasta, breads, etc.
Good luck!

Forget about spot reducing a certain body part. It doesn’t work. A body part is too big because that is part of your body where you tend to store excess body fat. Resistance exercising will not decrease fat in an area … it will only build the muscle that sits under the fat. It is totally impossible to change fat into muscle. They are two separate tissues.
If you want to make a body part smaller then you have to decrease the amount of body fat stored at that area. To decrease body fat you need to do two things. One: change your diet; eating a healthier diet so that the amount of calories you take in each day is less than the amount of calories you burn each day during activities. And two: increase the amount of calories you are burning each day by increasing your cardiovascular exercise. Also, doing weight training exercises will help you build some muscle mass, which will help increase your resting metabolic rate, so you will burn more calories on a daily basis.

Start yourself on a lower carb diet with good sources of lean protein. Then, start incorporating some ab excercises. The best thing I have found is the Ab Lounge. I swear by it. Don't get discouraged if you don't start to see results in a couiple of weeks. Your abs are a very deep muscle group that takes a long time to develop. Good luck!

i have a large pouch but I do know that lowering your carb intake and doing crunches helps and doing a good cardio workout daily to help with that unwanted fat.
Now getting myself to do it is another story. good luck!

Plaanks are excellent for that lower tummy pouch, if it is really small, you will see results fast.
