short form here: wife cheated on me. we have 2 kids. wanted to work it out, but she feels unable to apologize for her actions. have potential job out of state, we only have one good working car, she ruined credit while in charge of finances. dont want to leave her and kids with VERY undependable car..I have no extra funds to get another car at this time. I need help BADLY

As Dr Laura would put it, stay where you are and get a job locally so you can be part of the kids life. Don't cut and run.

if you're asking us for money or charity...don't.
If you're asking for ideas on where you could purchase a cheap car, then I suggest you check out craigslist--I'm a regular user in my area and there's all sorts of deals on there---just type in www.craigslist.com and click on your city/state and take it from there.
