The Lord Jesus Christ was discovered to John the Baptist not by him.
It's funny how you can read a statement of Kashmir "scholars" but not The Bible.
That would help to explain your ignorance, which to be fair is not as great as that of the Kashmir "scholars."

Nothing was known about the man Jesus until he was 30 all stories about his childhood came after, perhaps the Kashmir scholars are right but maybe it is the same as all the holy relics of the cross that Jesus was crucified on, if this is true also his cross must have been at least a mile long by the same width.

Take a GOOOD look at a map! Distance from Egypt to Kashmir...an incredible distance! (according to the Coptic Christians' site, below, it's even further to Chicago!)...So, while Jesus was still a newborn, we're supposed to believe that these guys traveled THOUSANDS of miles, to see a baby? And give him frankincense and myrrh? What?!
Jewish people in Jerusalem had been wanting a Messiah for thousands of yrs. and if SOME of them thought Jesus was it (though not when he was a few days old!...that was their loss).
The Wise men were NOT so wise, were they?
And the followers of Jesus must be...I can't say it! Let's say, P.T. Barnum would have a thing or two to say!
P.S: Re the posts about John the Baptist. He was already well-known when Jesus went to him. NOBODY KNOWS what really happened! It would, however, have been in Jesus' best interest to be baptized, to further his goals.

John the Baptist did not "discover" Jesus, like some talent agent discovers the next movie star. Jesus was not in India either. Jesus was is Israel. He came to John to be baptised.

Yeah, he's just suddenly in his 30's. From a secularist point of view he may have been a normal man (some gospels don't even talk about the virgin birth or Jesus until his 30's) that was named "the annointed" after he was annointed by John the Baptist.
As far as where the man was geographically I don't know.

Jesus was not "discovered" by John Baptist.
Jesus was not lost....
John's purpose was to announce the coming of Christ and did not at the beginning of Jesus's ministry..
Hence John's minstry decreased--that Christ might increase.
Jesus had been traveling the area of nazareth.
Jesus probably lived in Galilee for most of his life

john the baptist never discovered jesus ,jesus is fortold about all through the old testement , jesus and john the baptist were cousins they had six months age difference between them ,we are never told where jesus was once he was mentioned in the temple he was not mentioned again untill he began his ministry ,it obviously wasnt for us to know because god would have added it in his word, i do know that the reason he was 30 before he started his ministry was because as a jew if your father died and joseph had died ,it was jewish custom for the eldest to look after the mother untill the next son reaches the age of 30, then the mother was to be handed over to the next brother, however jesus broke this tradition by handing his mother to the disciple john at the cross, when he said john behold your mother woman behold your son,he did this because he didnt want to give her to his brother who did not believe yet, but he gave her to someone who knew who jesus was and about the faith

Of course Jesus visited India in his youth - many of his teachings are very similar to Buddhist teachings because they basically say the same thing; let's be nice to each other, it really is the best way to get on. The Christian church has hidden many things from public view in order to have power over people, the Gospel of Jesus, the true history of Thomas Epididimus, etc but everyone really knows Jesus visited India and had Buddhis teachings.

Uhhh...let's see....since the pre-born (6th month) John the Forerunner "leapt in his mother's womb" (St. Elizabeth) at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary when she was first "with child" as the Mother of Jesus....one could hardly say that John "discovered" Jesus at any time except before when they were both born

John the baptist didn't discover him, he grew up with him. They were cousins, read a bible and you would know this. And Jesus was known from his birth the king wanted him killed from the begining. Jesus wasn't dicoverd he was born.
