That cracks me up. Who the hell knows what God said? Did they hear him speak? Did He send them a note? NO! They assume that some men were "inspired by God". That is just plain rubbish.

Shouldn't we just use common sense. Ask yourself, would God condemn anyone to hell for eating shrimp? Would God put to death our children for cursing us? Would God send me to hell for making love with a man I am not married to? Would God send anyone to hell for making love to whomever they choose? The answer to all these question is NO! NO! NO! NO!

The largest body of text about homosexuals is in the OT, no wonder they reverted to that to prove their point.

The NT does mention the homosexual in certain passages. This is not the only one.

In Romans 1:27, Paul says,
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

That many said that? Wow. I know I didnt, and I am suprised anyone who claims to be a Christian would say that. I read one answer to your post that said something like God already said it, so Christ didnt have to. How sad is that, when Christ himself tells us he brought us a new covenent with God.

You are lying about the words of Jesus he was not a wimp. Jesus tells us to bring non-christians before him and slay them. Don't make Jesus out to be a liberal wimp he was not. The bible says he told his followers to carry swords.

Yet another peculiarity of Christianity. They follow what is pertinent to their life and no more. I believe that has the smell of secularism about it.

Jesus does command us to love everyone, but we are to reject their sin. Homosexual behavior is sinful bc it's against God's design for sex and marriage. We are to love homosexuals but reject their sin and encourage them to turn from it and obey God.

It depends on the verses. They cherry pick what suits them from both testaments irrespective of who was supposed to have said what.
