Shy girls, confident girls, funny girls.
Lack of self-esteem is a problem, I try to avoid them.
When it comes down to it, I like femme girls, butch girls (a lot), overweight girls, thin girls, those with great personalities. Love girls that don't shave their legs or armpits (yes, sometimes I think I really was born a lesbian in a mans body).
I prefer to avoid those who are self-centered, selfish, ego-centric, compassionless.

First off, a real man likes girls period. If he is serious about committing to a relationship then he needs to realize that every girl carries with her a personality and traits that make her a unique individual. These traits are what makes up the true character which will be displayed as the ocassion calls for. When confidence is shown, then a guy should not feel threatened or put off. On the contrary he should be proud in the fact that his dream girl can "take it" as well as "dish it out".
Personally speaking, I like all kinds of girls, funny, shy, etc. Also, shape means nothing to me either. What you have on thte inside is the most important factor.

Many men do like girls with the qualities you listed. Not all men, some men prefer to prey on weak willed women and these guys tend to be abusive. Still, others like myself, prefer women who aren't overconfident because it causes conflicts with our own overconfidence.

girls that have a sense of humour. she has to be able to take a joke and not be easily hurt be crude jokes. doesn't matter if they are shy. but be careful shyness doesn't come across as "not interested".
