Any private orginization, can. Elks Lodge, Masons, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, if its private, they can let in, or turn away anyone they want.

His is it discrimination? The Boy Scouts is a private orginization for boys, just as the Girls scouts is for girls.

I do not know, I'm sure they do just like the boy scouts would not want any gay males. But them Girl Scout cookies are good. I love the Chocolate Thin Mints.

They don't, but I think the Guides are allowed to discriminate against boys.

...And just to make things "fair", boys should have every right to go in groups and crash the Girl Scout meetings, play football and wrestle wherever they want - after all, we are no longer allowed to use any brains when it comes to these meetings - we are only concerned with supposed rights and not any wishes of the participants' or their parents. Why should we be concerned for anyone's welfare?

This is a double edged sword.
So long as they receive money from the Federal government, no, they should not.
If they renounced federal support and no longer got even a penny from the government, then yes, they should. And gays and whites and blacks and straights and latinos and married men or any other group they so choose.
