Wow! What a myth! No one who ever walked into a doctor's office or clinic in America has ever been diagnosed with a protein defficiency. (Biafra maybe?)

If you must pump up on protein. Choose a vegetable protein. Beans, nuts, legumes (peas), wheat, wheat germ.

Meat protein is not usable by the human body, it must first be broken down into Amino Acids and then your body uses these Amino Acids to form protein in your body.

The by-product of meat protein is "urine" in the form of uric acid, an arthritis causing agent.

Vegetable protein already comes as an amino acid, it starts immediately to produce protein in your body. Vegetable protein (amino acids) produces no harmful by-products, it has no harmful side effects.

PS: Drink a lot of water. All forms of protein tend to dehydrate us. (that is why fresh fruits and vegetables are important in any diet)

Omar's close....except it's called WHEY protein. (and it's GNC, not GMC)
But really now, fish is an excellent source..however...do check out mercury levels for different fish on line, even canned tuna is carrying higher levels lately. Wild Salmon (not farm raised) is always an excellent healthy choice.

Go to GMC, and buy Weigh Protein, and Creatine, you'll see great results. Remember with the creatine, to drink lots of water, and do the 1 month on, 1 month off routine.
