Spraying the area is not thorough enough. You need to use an enzyme cleaner that destroys the urine. And you need to keep using it for a while. Nature's Miracle, I have found is the best. But there are other enzyme cleaners. You may not smell anything, but your dog will. And he will continue to mark his spot until the scent is gone. If he is peeing on a carpet, you have to make sure the enzyme soaks through to the padding, and the floor too. Altering your male dog may help, but it is not a guaranteed solution.

Well if it is a male spraying, block the area off. But if it is on the carpet or something, get puppy pads. They are great. You can find them at Wal-Mart or anywhere. He will eventually stop. The reason he/she is doing it is because their smell is so sensitive that the spray doesnt kill the odor. They can still smell it. Or you could even move their food bowl over the area, that will definetly stop the problem.

Have you used an enzyme cleaner? That is the only way to take the scent out of the area. Try it you can get it at your local pet store.

Move his food to that spot.
Dogs don't like to "go" where they eat, and with time, he'll start to associate the texture of the floor on that spot with food, and you can teach him that he is supposed to eliminate on the grass instead.

Don't you think that is the right thing for him to do. Or do you prefer your dog to be doing his business in any corner where you may not be able to find it.
