how do i stop flirting?

my friend (for right now) likes me (garrett) and i like him as well. last friday Garrett was going to ask me out but he insisted i was flirting with my JUST friend josh. Garrett called me and he was mad, truthfully i didnt even realize i was flirting. What can i do to stop? i really like Garrett and i dont want to lose him cause i was stupid.

Were you flirting? Or was Garrett jealous that you were talking to Josh? That's not flirting. It sounds like Garrett is too immature to be dating anyone (including you).

You didn't say how old you , G or J are. But I think you all need to grow up a bit more (about 3 to 5 years).
