THIS GUY CHEATED ON MY FRIEND AND SAID A LOT OF OTHER LIES. SHE WANTS TO MAKE A ONLINE PROFILE ABOUT HIM ON THE WEBSITE THEY MET ON AND EXPLAIN SOME OF THE THINGS THAT HAPPEND DURING THERE RELATIONSHIP. SHE WOULD NEED TO USE HIS PICTURE. SHE WOULDNT USE HIS NAME OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION BUT HIS PICTURE AND TALKING ABOUT HOW HE IS A CHEATER ON A NEW PROFILE AND SEND A LITTLE MESSAGE TO WARN OTHER WOMEN ABOUT HIM IS THIS CONSIDERED ILLEGAL? THANK YOU FOR THE HELP

That is not identity theft....identity theft is when you take his card number and or is SSN and using it to do crap online or saying you were him when doing stuff then that is identity theft...what you are doing with the computer hehe...can be fun... I did that to this guy after he broke my heart and I made him sound like a real retart. But the thing is be careful because if he were to find it or have to many people look at it or whatever it can come back to him and embress him very badly...you might want that at first but it could also go to far...but you be the judge

No it is not illegal to tell the truth about someones personal affairs although It is rather vindictive to broadcast it over the Internet. It is a good thing to warn others of this "players" indiscretions because honesty is the best policy. I am sorry your friend has had a bad experience but there are honest truthful people out there she will meet and she should put this bad experience behind her and move on because this guy is not worth the wasted energy.

Technically he could sue for slander, in that case she would have to prove all allegations are true. In most cases no one would take the time or money to sue someone over it, but ya never know.
