for example they sent a person to a prison in pensacola and i want to bring them back to were they were in miami. its a program but i dont remember.. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! i need that info.

If the person is in actual prison, a bench warrant needs to be issued by the judge in Miami to have him brought there to answer any pending charges. The sheriff's office in Miami should pick him up from the prison and bring him back to Miami.

I think the program you're asking about is the Interstate Agreement on Detainers which involves tranferring prisoners from state to state. This is commonly referred to as extradition.

i think you have to make a plea deal with the DA to make sure you can stay within your county b/c without a deal in place the dept. of corrections has to place prisoners where there are open beds and proper facilities to contain the more dangerous prisoners.

are you talking about state prison or county jails? cause when it comes to state prisons they pretty much stick them where they want to, but counties will move them with permission from the DA's in both counties.
