There is nothing you can eat or do to beat a breathalyzer (other than time, not drinking, etc..) If you just want to cover it up you have to use something that smells even stronger. The subtle approach would be to chew on some garlic but that may not do the trick. The other approach would be gasoline. Not a lot, we're not trying to catch on fire. It only takes a few drops to make you reek. A less dangerous approach would be to put some Icey Hot on your elbows or BenGay. That cherry Mentholatum smell would be so strong that they wouldn't be able to smell the alcohol on your breath unless they were right in your face.

There's really no way to get alcohol off your breath. Anything you use will just mask the smell, and doesn't last long enough. All alcohol smells terrible on your breath, but I guess what smells the least would be wine coolers or mixed drinks that don't really have much alcohol compared to what it's mixed with.

Mythbusters tested a ton of the supposed ways to get alcohol off your breath. All the methods failed. However alcohol is a liquid, so if you make your system work (by running and such) and breathing alot, it will get it out quicker, not exceptionally quicker, but faster none the least.
Vodka smells the least since it has little to it then alcohol and water.

Nothing but time will take away the smell of alcohol on your breath.
All alcohol emits a smell once it's consumed.....it seeps out through your pores.
Do you need to know so you feel better getting behind the wheel of a car?? Hide the smell from your parents???
Don't Drink and Drive....It kills! And peanuts won't save you from a DUI..........just my thoughts.

Chew celery or some parsley because it stimulates saliva flow. When you drink alcohol it dries out your mouth but chewing veggies that stimulate your saliva flow helps wash away the bacteria that dries out your mouth. Drinking water also, because it helps put oxygen into your mouth and the smell on your breath is coming from anaerobic bacteria. Water helps flush them away. Chewing sugarless gum helps, don't chew sugar gum the bacteria just feeds on it.
Vodka is odorless but It is still alcohol so I would say it doesn't matter what you drink it will still dry you out. Beer you can definately smell though. Peppermint schnapps may be good...
