I'm not a fan of beards. Not even goatees or moustaches. The closest I like is a little stubble, which can look really sexy so long as you don't go overboard and try the whole Don Johnson in his Miami Vice days look.

From most womens point of view, clean shaven is the best. It shows you take the time to take care of yourself and you are worth the effort that we put in for you. Really how would you feel if your girlfriend stopped shaving her legs?

A well groomed beard can be very nice on a man. I just hate it when a guy with a beard doesn't take the time to keep it clean.

i don't like full beards very much, but i thik my boyfriend is really sexy with a goatee. just to switch it up a bit anyway. my only problem is that i have really sensitive facial skin so my chin gets all red and gross when we make-out if he hasn't shaved for awhile or when he had the goatee for a few days. so condition your facial hair boys! we girls appreciate it! :-)
anyway, some people can pull that kind of stuff off some can't.

I always grow one when I'm not on duty. You can see the diff on my yahoo 360. One day I'll grow one permanently regardless of what people think.
They say people with beards are discriminated against. I don't care. I'm still going to be happy.

It depends on the person the beard is on. Some guys look good with one, some don't.

Looks great on some, and downright awful on others. But then, you also have to factor in who's looking, what their tastes are, etc... plus if you have a girlfriend you might want to get her opinion, and then on top of all that, you have to factor in your own personal preference. Sounds like a lot of hassle to me.
**Personally, I don't really mind the way they look on say... Captain Sparrow in POTC, and I liked my boyfriend's goatee when he had one. But I hate the way it feels. It really bothers my skin.

My personal opinion is....NO....not a full beard
But some guys can pull off the 'I haven't shaved in a few days' look.....totally depends on your body type

They are really gross unless you can pull off the scruffy 5o clock thing or the one where it's barly growing but other wise they look gross if you can't pull them off there are so many kinds

I think every guy needs to grow one sometime in his life. I have grown many but usually get tired of them and sometimes they do itch.
