okay i fell in love with this guy and he fell for me. he's 20 and i'm 18. well we would get dirrty when we were texting and his dad found them and is now saying he's not allowed to talk to me. and i haven't heard from him in about a week....should i give up all hope or pray that he'll stand up to his dad???? or just completely forget about him?

if he is 20 then why is he listening to his dad? I don't understand. You shouldn't lose all hope, but then again he might have more respect for his dad than that. I don't know how long you talked or anything but if i was you, i wouldn't lose all hope. I would hope and pray that we could be together and that everything will work out fine.

I would try and talk to him... in person. Really he is 20 his father by law can not control his choices. After you talk to him if he does not continue the relationship.. forget him. Seriously he is 20.

It is appropriate to be respectful and honour one's father, however...
This is totally insane.
If, that is, this is the real reason he broke contact with you.
You need to speak with him, and tell him that he needs to stand up for HIMSELF..not just you, in order to be a real man.
Acting like a man is not being disrespectful to his father, when done properly. I'm sure he can figure it out.
If he's not ready to do this, he's not ready to be with you.

he is 20 and a full grown man so he should stand up to him. I do think it is fishy though. Why would his dad snoop in his txt messages

hes 20 and its his dicision and if its ment to be then it will be just give it some more time and if he really loves you then he will call or talk to you but i think that you should send him an e mail to see wats going on and make sure that hes ok first
