a fungal infection cannot be completely cured by home remedies. you need to see a good dermatologist, he/she will prescribe some sulphur / steriod based preparations that completely kill the fungus and remove chances of reinfection as well.

cut you hair short, shorter hair, more hygiene.

shampoo frequently using a mild shampoo + conditioner

use coconut oil and boil some neem leaves in it.

you may be surprised to know that mehendi is a great anti-fungal. use it with sour curds / lemon and soaked fenugreek seeds.

Apply fenugreek seed paste for half an hour and wash. Always remember to keep the hair and scalp clean. Lemon and orange peel has been found very effective in the treatment of acne and pimples.

grind the neem leaves with mixing some water and keep it to the hair roots then leave that for 30 to 60 minutes then clean it with warm water and then leave the hair for 15 minutes then clean it with shampoo . neem leaves will cure the fungus

There is a shampoo called Nizoral, which can be purchased at Walgreens. It works wonders.
