You could try the Swank Martini Company's recipe for Christmas Martini. It's easy and delightful:
6 parts gin
1 part dry vermouth
1 teaspoon peppermint schnapps
Miniature candy cane
Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with candy cane.

Most of your answers so far are not martini's at all. Gin is the only real booze to use in a martini ... anything else ... well ... is something else. I am not a martini fan, but to make a tollerable martini make sure you use blue saphire gin. Cheap gin taste like heating oil ... don't ask how I know. ;)
If you want a martini-like drink for the holiday season you may be better off making cosmopolitans ... usually well liked and colorful. Look up the recipe on idrink.com.

Crantini. It's got a Christmas colour (red) and we tend to have turkey for dinner (with lots of cranberry sauce), so cranberries fit into the theme as well.
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz vermouth
4 oz cranberry juice
The usual combine, shake, pour directions. Can add some cranberries for extra flare.
If you want a green martini as well, you can do a green appletini.
2 oz vodka
1 oz apple schnapps
1 oz melon liqueur
1 squeeze lime juice
I've seen mixes for making these martinis as well (just add vodka!) at the store, but can't remember the brands right now.

Mistletoe Martini:
This is yummy and very festive looking. Its Vodka, Midori and Grenadine. I'd say about 4 parts vodka to 1 part Midori and just a splash (right into the martini glass) of grenadine. But you can just make it to your liking. Cheers and have a great safe holiday!

lemon twist for garnish
PREPARATION:
1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.

4. Garnish with the lemon twist.
You can also batch this recipe out and then just shake individual drinks with ice in a shaker before serving. MMMM!
