Uh, I'm not sure what you mean. Who is 'she' in this description.

I'm assuming you mean the woman in a two person, male-female relationship (and yes there are three, four, and more person relationships).

If she's wanting

1) Platonic friends.

Definitely yes. Everyone needs friends

2) romantic friends.

This is more complex. Everyone needs to be ok with this. The guy, the girl, and whomever is being dated. Everyone must be aware of all the relationships involved and be ok with it.

It also requires much more communication than with a typical binary relationship. Extreme honesty, and the ability to be introspective, to check and be in touch with your own emotions. To be able to look at the root causes of any jealousy, for instance. Being able to control (not get swept away) by NRE (New relationship energy) is very important.

Having been in a polyamorous relationship (two guys, one girl), I can tell you that honesty and a great deal of communication is paramount. Without it, somone's on the road to a lot of pain.

if one is going to have friends on the side, it should be friends of both in the relationship. if she wants to have "friends" (men of course) separate from the relationship, then only trouble can result of this.

why would she need separate friends? that's because she can flirt, act and do things that her bf wouldn't approve of when he's around. if she insists that she must have "friends" on the side then she shouldn't have a bf. Period.

It's wrong if you are talking about dating other people and still be in a relationship. But if you want other friends then no that is not wrong and if your boyfriend think that it is wrong then yall don't have a good relationship.

who is she??? if it is the 'she' in the relationship then she should not be wanting to see friends on the side unless you mean genuine 'friends'. being in a relationship does not mean that you each have to give up individual friends.

Are you asking if your girlfriend is allowed to have friends?? Are you expecting that once someone is in a relationship their social life should be terminated and have no friends???
