So about a month ago, around thanksgiving, my boyfriend and I broke up. He started dating someone else and continued telling me that he loved me and wanted to be with me. Well soon after , he broke up with him and wanted to fix things between us. Well I had met someone and began to start liking this person. Well, the person I liked and my ex got together and went to a movie, lied to my face, and then are now saying they want to fix things. I am at a loss of what to do, can you please help?

*** They both want to fix things with me and they say they don't like each other anymore and it shouldn't have even happened.

Okay, the one guy I was dating, we had been dating for a year and a half, the other guy who I hadn't dated had only been talking to me for less than a month.

J,

First of all you gotta remember that there are only two things you can control.

1) Yourself
2) Your Reaction to things.

If this guy that you liked you as much as it sounds that you liked him he wouldn't not have gone out on a date with you ex. So you really need to chalk it up to he wasn't just that into you. Realize that its OK people have preferences. Its a fact of life that we all must learn. It would appear that you have experienced it first hand. Try to learn from this and realize that its life - and sometimes life is messy.

Secondly,
If the guys has already started lying to you you need to just give it up. Pining after him only makes the situation more volatile and your feelings hurt even more than they are now as you could set yourself up for another heartbreak.

Commune with yourself first and find that you like and even love yourself. That is what people find most attractive is self confidence.

Take Care of yourself and just believe that you will get through this and you will.

No retaliation no revenge - just let it go and thank your stars that he showed his true colors early and not later.

;)

Good Luck!

I heard gay men are promiscuous but this is rediculous... Drop them both. If they are both lying, you don't need that around you. I've always believed that the energy a person has is based on the energy of the people around him. You don't need that negative energy around you. Look elsewhere and you will find someone who won't lie to you and be faithful. Good luck!

I'm a little confused. so do THEY want to fix things between them now.
Either way, if things were meant to be they were meant to be, you had your shot a relationship and it didn't work out. Just let it go.

if your ex is lien to you and not meaning what says to you then try your best to find someone else who really wants to be with you and not do that to you.
