If you have not kept records of your different addresses, then you will have to pay a solicitor to draw up an affidavit for you to sign and have witnessed. This is a legal document.

You should be on the electoral roll with your local council, if you are over 18, and that is what is used by finance companies to ascertain that you are a real person!

Tell them the names of the fish and chip shops where you have lived. This proves you have been there and that you are British. Only a british person would have used them. Simple!

voters roll, failing that ,get your bank to confirm your previous addresses. I used to work in mortgages and if people werent on voters role id ask for that to prove residences at addresses.
