Does this show make you mad or make you cry, both or do you just not watch it because you don't want to get emotional?

I don't get mad or sad. I find what those people do fascinating, even though I know I could never do it. I can't believe how many people there are out there who own animals who have absolutely no desire to do so. Why would anyone buy an animal, tie it to a fence, and never bother with it again? I cannot comprehend that at all. My neighbor had a dog who was tied outside on a very short leash night after night, barking like crazy. I never saw them play wiht the dog, or walk him or anything. I can't understand that. I called the cops, and they took the dog.

I have never watched it because admitedly I do no have what it takes to watch a show like this. It would just be too much. But, I am wondering, why would anyone with any common sense would want to adopt a dog out os the shelter, after all these animals have been through? How do you trust a dog that has been abused and you know nothing about it. The first thing most people would do is love that dog to the point that it would soon become another type of problem. How do you put a dog into your home, with small kids that you have no idea where he came from what he was raised like and what kind of treatment he had? I could never do it, I could never have a dog around my kids that I did not know what his great, great , grandfather was like and that this dog was raised specifically for my purposes. And please do not tell me that you have had this type of dog in your house and it was the best dog you have ever had. My idea of a best dog and yours are two totally different things. Plus it only takes one wrong dog to make one wrong move and the damage is done. No thank you.

Both. I get soo mad when they do "behavior training" on starved dogs (especially pit bulls) by trying to take away their food and the dog becomes aggressive. Hell I would bite you too if you started hitting me with a fake hand while I was eating the only food I have seen in months! It just bothers me because that is a bad test to decide whether an animal is aggressive. I could see doing that test on a healthy, well fed dog to see if it is aggressive, but not a dog who is still under fed and wants food. Also it makes me so sad seeing all of those abused animals. Working in a vet clinic I have seen my share of those cases as well. I hate the city's that automatically put down any pit bulls. Pit Bulls are not necessarily bad dogs they just have bad owners. If you think about it it is kind of like a type of genocide. They are just desrtoying the breed because they think they are a danger. Why stop there, why not destroy german shepards, rottweilers, akitas, dobermans, and any other dogs who have ever had a bad wrap. Sorry I just had to vent. Don't take any offense to what I said please.

If someone is abusing their animal, I get pissed. I can't believe some of the abuse that I see on that show. And I never think the punishment fits the crime. I think the should go to jail for at least 6 months and pay a few thousand dollars, too. But I have caught myself getting teary-eyed too because of what some of the animals go through. I think there should be Animal Cops in every city.

It brings out all kinds of emotion in me, from hatred to admiration. It also inspires me to do all that I can do to help animals in need whether it be volunteering at an animal shelter, raising money for a shelter/rescue, fostering dogs until they find their "forever home", adopting instead of buying, or being a fierce advocate for spaying/neutering.

I have cried several times while watching that show because I feel so powerless to help those poor animals.

It really all depends on the episode but most of them are very emotional considering at the bad things do to the poor animals. Ive always wanted to be apart of helping these animals out but its going to be hard for me sense I get emotional easy but then id just think of how im helping them and doing whats best. People need to realize that animals have feelings also they hurt and cry just like we do. They depend on us to take care of them not fight them or beat them.

I personal feel this show is very good and educational, it makes you take notice as how some people treat animals. After watching it I decided it was time to help in someway to prevent this thing from continuing. I opened my home to these injured animals until they are adopted to good homes.

If more people would take notice of what is going on around them and notify the Animal Control and these people get convicted of their crimes would stop.

Help them don't turn you head away and do nothing...

Both. Sometimes I cry, usually when they save an animal & show how happy it is when it's with its new family. I get pissed & disgusted when they show some of the people who do those awful things

sure, they do look to euthanise plenty, yet in accordance to a internet site I observed it says that the Houston SPCA euthanized sixty 5% of animals. i don't be attentive to if that's precise or no longer, even though it style of feels alarming to me. i've got additionally seen episodes (from different states) the place animals that regarded to have the flexibility to be saved have been placed down. some SPCAs are no longer a no kill defend. some workers probable do care very plenty, some won't. in basic terms because of the fact people artwork with animals does not propose they care approximately them. i've got seen countless defend workers or maybe a some volunteers that don't take care of the animals properly. (i'm no longer bearing on the Houston SPCA.) upload: i became no longer bearing on the sixty 5% being the national generic for information. there is not any longer in basic terms an argument of properties. Is it actual they do no longer undertake out pit bulls?. pondering Texas is crammed with them i'm no longer able to help yet ask your self what part of those information is in basic terms with the aid of breed? I somewhat have the comparable subject with some no kill shelters. in case you would be able to desire to euthanize, this is one element. Be up front. do no longer toy with information. Dont' say some thing like " ALL adoptable dogs are submit for adoption" this is a pretend quote, yet I see comparable ones. Be up front, say your euthanasia information. consistent with danger it is going to motivate somebody from adopting and discourage somebody from dropping off a dogs because of the fact they are bored to death in it. no longer each defend is administered the comparable with people who attempt. i've got heard of one defend who had an 80% euthanasia fee and whilst they have been given new people it went down dramatically. It became no longer a no kill, yet they nonetheless had a super improve adopting animals.
