A few weeks ago I came up to the guy i like (who i've known as an aquaintence for a year or so) and told him i like him. I got freaked out cuz i thought he'd be upset or grossed out (it's not like i'm ugly or anything; my friends say i'm pretty but i'm super shy) and i walked away. The next day i didn't talk to him, i just let him have time to think about it. Awhile later i tried to talk to him again, but he totally ignored me! he just walked away and didn't even look at me. The next week he kept looking at me, but he didn't talk to me. My friends talked to him (they are friends with him) and he told them that he thought i was kinda wierd. But a few days ago i snuck a glance at him and he held my gaze and smiled at me! like, kind of a flirty smile, but it was really sweet. Then on Friday i was watching him leave school (his locker is a few down from mine) and he turned his head and was looking at me. I really like him! Do you think he likes me or did i freak him out? What should i do?!

I wouldn't have told him in the first place except in gym one day we were doing this thing on a team w/ excersize mats. i was on Nick's team (not my choice!) and one of his friends tossed the mat up and it would have hit me, but Nick put his arm around me and pulled me out of the way and told his friends to be careful. Another day a week or so after this he came up do me during passing period and asked if we needed our books for a class i have with him.all of this happened a bit before i told Nick i liked him. I still really do but i don't know if he likes me, and i don't want to talk to him again b/c i'm afraid he'll ignore me again. He's a really nice kid, the only reason he'd ignore me is b/c i'm grossing him out/freaking him out b/c he likes me too. But don't you think he either likes me or majorly dislikes me? Otherwise why would he smile at me and look at me all the time?

Stay away. Even if he does like you, he's
"playing you". Don't let him see his actions are affecting you in any way. Look away from him and stay away. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and most of them will swim right to you, not away, like this jerk.

I'm pretty sure he likes you. Try this: the next time you see him ask him an open-ended question, not just a yes or no question. Open-ended questions make it easy for people to talk about themselves and that's what you want him to do. You'll feel a lot more comfortable around each other once you guys get to talking.

my opinion is that he's just being nice cuz i do that with girls i don't like sometimes not that i'm sayin he does'nt like u but maybe u should become good friends first then go to the next level that's probably why he thinks u r weird cuz u told him u like him out of nowhere cuz even if i like u back that still would have weirded me out a bit
