been going out with this guy nearly two weeks now!

but we're at school and haven't seen him out of school - YET - just cus of being busy with pre planned things and stuff.

we've hugged and held hands but thing is i always feel kinda awkward cus all my friends are around at the same time!

i'm 17 and i'm his first girlfriend and he's my first boyfriend!

it just feels like we're more friends than anything else at the moment! which we were before - it doesnt really feel like much has changed apart from the status!

any ideas what i can do?

Your relationship sounds great to me - you are friends.

Aww. That is really cute. Congrats on your first boyfriend BTW.
So you know you like him but each of you is too shy to make a move. Why don't you try to see him outside of school? Spend sometime alone with him. I know you want to kiss him! Start with a kiss on the cheek for now, until you guys get more comfortable together. There is no rush to get to the "making-out" stage. The longer you wait, the more anticipation will build. Just make sure you continue to tell him how much you like him so he doesn't fell like the fact that you haven't kissed means you're not into him. It'll come naturally if it's meant to.

This is the fun stage of the relationship, being in love. Don't ruin it by having sex with him like one of the people wrote, it's not the answer. Just try to get to know him, ask him questions about himself, and spend more time with him, around school, or outside, but don't go too fast. It's not easy but going too fast might sometimes mess things up. Good luck

kiss him on the cheek, hug him close and see if he'll kiss ya. SEE HIM OUT OF SCHOOL. if parents are an issue, both of you can "stay after school" then be together. ask about eachothers hopes and dreams and all that. Make him a greeting card. Give him a gift (anything from food to whatever).

Get out of school. Set up a date to the movies or to eat or ice skating, whatever. You need to hang out outside of your school.
