If christians weren't so angry, I would agree...but they're so filled w/anger and hate, many of them...I think they're suffering constantly! Who cares about "hell"? They're already IN it!

Not all Christians think this way. There are very diverse interpretations of Christianity. One important thing that made Martin Luther to split his church from the Catholic Church was that he said that salvation comes by faith alone and Catholics say that actions are important. There is no agreement on this issue among Christians, because some say that faith only is important, and some say that if you have faith, then you must act morally or your faith is not worth anything. There are also Christians who say you don't have to believe in Jesus to go to their heaven and it is more important that you act according to teachings of Jesus, and this then basically means "love your neighbor as yourself".
I agree that the brand of Christianity that says believe in Jesus and that's all what is important is extremely immoral. Definitley the NT says that Jesus that that the most important thing is that you "love your neighbor as yourself", but for many Christians it is only important that Jesus was crucified "for their sins".
I am not Christian by the way.

You really don't know a lot about Chrisitanity, Good try though.
Christianity is a realtionship where actions mean a whole lot. God never lets ones actions if it is based in sin go unpunished. Believers as well as unbelievers will get judged for what we say, think and do.
And Paul wrote in one of his letters that people shouldn't go on sinning just because of the grace of God to forgive.
You have taken the actions of a few people and labeled everybody. Christianity is not a get out of hell free card. It is a relationship with Christ, I'm sure Hell has some people in it who claimed to be Christian, but it's not the claim that matters.
It's the relationship.

The easy way out of what? or where?, if the free card is true, so be it, if we are in Hell. It's true the only thing for Christians to do, is to believed, Martin Luther spoke in a metaphorical way if he said that, although I which my self it could be that simple. But you has to know the dark in order to be scare off, as well to know the light, though all Christians aren't required to do that, it all depended of how much and how willing you are to search for the true in your own, with-out breaking any rule that God, or Jesus can't help you to justified your own causes to do so, and you can steal call your self a good christian? There is where you can prove to you, and others that you have use God gift of Intelligence, though you have never been force to use such a gift from God to man, in trying to find a better and more Intelligent way to gain God's favor's, some due, but God don't respond to such games, but Satan do. God gift of Intelligence to you is and will be for free, to assure your freedom, to believed in HIM(God), respect, and follow his commandment's, it take not Intelligence at all, it just take, some imagination and common sense, perhaps some awareness, as well that the minimum of consciousness. The point its to keep a clean Conscience. at all time. God bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus, his Son. .Amen.

Actions mean a lot really. In the end when we stand before God we will be rewarded for all of the good we have done. The bible says we will be rewarded with crowns but that we will give them back to Jesus because we are so unworthy. If "just believing" was so easy then why have you found it so difficult?

I don't know what M. Luther's statement means, but Christianity is not a faith where actions mean little . Your actions mean everything. Don't make ignorant statements about something which you so obviously know little.
Saying "so shat is the point? is a cowardly way of looking for acknowledgment from others that you don't need to worry about whatever it is you're talking about.

you are right and wrong.
right when referring to the majority of modern christians
wrong when referring the the religion itself
martin luther king, though a great person, does not represent jesus.
for a long time i couldnt accept christ for many reasons. then i realized that all of those reasons were based on the people that i associated with christianity, mostly judgemental hypocrites and wackos. read the bible for yourself, and i can garauntee you will find something vastly different than what you are expecting.

You obviously do not know much about Christianity if you think this is the case. True Christian's do not "do whatever we want", we live our lives as best as we can, and when we slip up and sin, and we all slip up and sin, we repent, ask forgiveness and try again. We are not out there sinning and living wild lives then using our "get out of hell free card", that is crazy.

Nope, belief in Jesus wont keep you from judgment. We will ALL be judged according to what we belive. And a REAL believer in Christ, would not use him, and go and sin again and again. If you know someone who claims to be a Christian, but doesnt keep the laws of Christ, then he's a liar.

Wrong, actions mean so much. Unfortunately most people are exposed to the extremists that tell everyone they are going to Hell.

You haven't read the book of James have you?
"faith without works is dead"
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds."
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
19You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
20You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[d]? 21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,"[e] and he was called God's friend. 24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.
25In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
