All of the Apostles except John were martyred.
James was one of the Apostles.

We read nothing of him in the Bible after the first "Council at Jerusalem" in the scriptures. Even Paul's mentions of James in his Corinthians and Galatian Epistles are in reference to James' participation in that council as one of the church's leaders.

I read this "theory" in one of Ahmed Deedat's books. Interesting to say the least!
