The simple fact is that NOBODY knows what really happens. So it's each for his own - you have to believe whatever you feel is right. If you are a good decent person I think you can't go far wrong, and also you should live life to the full, no regrets.
Personally I am a lapsed Christian. I feel the term agnostic suits me better now. I think God may exist, but that we are on our own here and we just have to make the best we can out of life.

I personally do not believe in any sort of afterlife. We have an indeterminate number of years to live in the best way we can, then we die. That's the end of consciousness. There is no soul that continues to exist apart from the human brain; therefore, life is precious and should not be squandered.
Of all the afterlife beliefs, the one that sounds most fair to me (not "likely to be true," but fair) is that of the Universalists, who hold that everyone will eventually be reconciled with their Creator, however great their sins. Some believe that, after death, the soul is judged for its deeds during life and sentenced to an appropriate time in Hell--not so much for punishment, but rehabilitation. Once that term is served, the soul is united with the Creator. It's a fantasy, but it's at least more reasonable than sentencing one to an eternity of suffering. That is not a just sentence for any crime, however heinous.

Sounds interesting your view.
But what do you base it on?
Christianity has it roots from the bible that is a work of history. The bible has over 300 prophecies that have come true! One in the last century-the Jews going back to Israel. We have over 5000 documented cataloged evidence that the bible is the same as it was thousands of years ago example the dead sea scrolls.
We don't base out beliefs on just feelings.
Look into Jesus. "those who believe in me shall not perish but have everlasting life"
It's easy to prove the man Jesus was here on earth. We have non christian documents that even atheists know about from Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny the younger.
So was Jesus a nut? a fake? Or was her who he claimed to be?
Jesus talked more about Hell than anyone else in the bible. Why? Because he didn't want anyone to go there. He desired All to be saved.
We will all have eternal life. The difference is like real estate, location location location.

I believe that the Bible contains the answer - even discusses this question. Jesus is quoted as saying "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life". The New Testament writings give Hope to those who are in the track of death.
Life in reality is relative short - "three score years and ten" and Death, without Hope is a fearful thing.
Because I believe - does not mean YOU HAVE to believe, but I would encourage the reading of the Bible.

When people die they are all buried. If they die at sea, that becomes their burial place.
Proverbs 95Â For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6Â Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.10Â All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.
In Sheol, we wait for the promise : “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”—John 5:28, 29
And this :“All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.” The sheep are humble people who associate with and support Christ’s brothers, submitting to God’s rule. The goats are stubborn people who reject Christ’s brothers and do nothing to support God’s rule. With what result? Jesus said: “These [the goats] will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the righteous ones [the sheep] into everlasting life.”—Matthew 25:31-46.

My personal beliefs:
When I die, the energy that makes me "me" (my spirit/soul) is returned to the energy of the universe. It doesn't retain its coherence or consciousness. Think of a drop of rain falling into a pool of water.
When things are born, the energy that makes them a unique individual is drawn from that universal pool. It may or may not have some of the energy that used to be "me" in it. I think that accounts for some feelings of deja vu, past life experiences, and how more than one person can feel they were the same person in a previous life - more than one person can have some of the energy that was that person's soul in them.

If there was life aftor death then it makes seance that there was life before this life , unfortunately I have no conscious memory of any life except the one I am living now , consequently I do not believe in life before birth or aftor death

You can believe anything you like, because nobody really knows for certain if anything exists at all. Unfortunately that's a truth many are in denial of.
