well, first of all, if they did something to cause you to lose trust, then its not unhealthy to have doubts,,, you should have them,,,, but at same time, if you are going to give them another chance, you must set the doubts and any leftover hurt feelings aside,,,,,, and go into it with a open heart,,, alot of hope, and open eyes,,,, assume they are trustworthy till you have clear proof they are not,,,,,, that is the only way to enter into a trusting relationship with them,,,,,, otherwise you need to accept that you can not trust them,, at least not at this time,,,,,,, and let them know that,,,,,,

It's hard. We've all been there and the only thing that really helps is time. There's some people I'll never trust again. The things is that if it was an accident, then you have to analyze the situation and give the benefit of the doubt when it's due. Even if you do that though, it'll always be in teh back of your mind. It's hard.
