Ohhh,I'm scared to answer this one.If you are talking in terms of Religion then I can say it hasn't been. I choose to live my life Religion free. It suits me just fine that way and I don't need anyone telling me otherwise. I don't bash others for their beliefs and I expect the same in return.
If you are not talking about Religion and just a general belief or faith, then I will tell you it was when my daughter was born. I honestly believed that there was no beauty left in the world. Until I saw her. She shook that belief to the core and then shattered it. In the 2 years since, she only continues to show me more.
Sorry to be so long winded but I wanted to cover all bases.

My faith in Karma has been shaken...not that it is a big value or anything to me but I tend to believe that people 'reap what they sow' and this has been shaken in the context that my ex was a scumbag and now that we are divorced seems to be doing better off then me in better ways. Now I know it's not very wise to do this but sometimes you can't help it and I hate the fact that he has done me as well as so many others wrong (like his new gf) and still gets the upper hand. He has a decent career without having to attend college (I am still struggling to get through so that I can have a better job), has a new home, brand new truck, and wardrobe and seems to be doing just fine. I cannot complain too much about my current situation because after all things could be a hell of a lot worse but I just feel like he's getting more then he actually deserves...It seems far too often that people who make bad choices end up somehow better off in some aspects then those that do try to do and be good...Perhaps he will just get what his karma later on but as for now I think that it's a load of bs...lol....

My faith in people has been shaken recently as the pastor of 35 years of my church was sued for child molestation, from over 20 years ago that went on for about 7 years and half the congregation doesn't believe it happened and wants to keep him on as the pastor.

Almost 30 years ago. I saw the movie "Chariot of the gods" in the theater. I was taken in by the charades at the time. As I saw my faith slipping, I prayed to God to do something before it was too late. My prayer was answered. First I had a sense of assurance, but then a few months later, I saw a NOVA production exposing the fraud in the movie.

My faith was shaken once indeed. I really do not feel like getting into that, however it involved a dead chicken some flowers and a pot of salt and a square camphor.
I stood my ground. The other side couldn't convince me without using the bible.

My belief in God has only grown stronger...Once when I was on a trip 1000 mi. away my son had simple outpatient surgery and had a bad reaction to what ever, we still don't know. He was put in ICU in critical care all I had was prayer to get me through and I had such a peace about it...only God can do that. I have lived the way with out him and believe me I'll take God every time.

My faith is challenged nearly everyday, but I choose to look forward and not back. The last time it was challenged was when I was required to do a search for Biology class on evolution/creationism. It was difficult to continue with my beliefs and follow all the scientific "evidence".

I gotta tell ya..this past weekend, I can totally relate to this question...
and, i think I can relate to your question, because I am exhausted from working so much...and, I think when we as humans are either tired, hungry or lonley (or all three at the same time)...it changes our perception of what is important...and, what really matters...and, when this does happen we need to re-new our thinking, and realize that life is this way at times.
and, to know my lord is always with me..thanks Jesus

My faith in humanity is shaken pretty much on a daily basis. The longer I live the more my faith decreases. Sad but true.
