Well my friend since like 7th grade is popping alot of pills and im scared she might OD. but i have told her many of times to stop bcuz all she is doing is hurting her self and now she is talking about suicide. it wouldnt bother me as much if it was like 5 or 6 pills but its like 30 or 40 at a time. What should i do about all of this?

She definitely needs help. Try to get her to talk to you about what is bothering her so much that she is talking suicide. There must be something going on inside of her that she is trying to deal with by escaping. Tell her about methadone clinics. There may be one in your area that you could take her to. Methadone is a safe treatment to help people get off of opioids (codeine, pills,etc.) At leat she could get off the pills and get some counseling. You can look up methadone on webmd to learn more about it. I wish you luck and hope your friend will get some help soon.

Your friend is beyond your help and needs professional help. Talk to her parents; let them know about her life-threatening drug problem. If they don't do anything, encourage her to call the Suicide Hotline. You will find the 800 number in the phone book.

People who threaten suicide WILL do it. You need to get her help. Tell her parents, someone, anyone. Give her the # to a hotline.
I just lost a relative to suicide 4 months ago. He said he would do it and nobody believed him. And then one day he did. He never got help or saw a professional. he hid his feelings from everyone.
Please get her the help she needs.

If she don't want to help herself than you go straight were it hurts the main source were ever she is getting tham from and tell them to quit giving them to her and if that don't work go to her parent s and tell them whats happining and yeah at first she is gonna be mad but eventually she will come around and thank you for helping her!!!
