I am a South African living in Britain. When I called Virgin Atlantic to ask if I could get refund on a return ticket for South Africa next year or to change my destination I was informed that I could not, which is quite upsetting as I do not have plans to go to South Africa next year. My contact number is 07842766788. When I purchased my ticket through Virgin Atlantic I was not informed by travel agent of these details concerning no reimbursement.

Prez say ask to speak to manager. Prez say when you bought ticket it probably say "no refund". Prez say most airline will allow you to use credit for ticket though for another ticket and charge you some sort of fee for it. Prez say you shouldnt put your # on here. Prez better know.

Most airline tickets are nonrefundable. Your agent should have advised you of this. But, you should be able to change your return for a change fee if its to the same destination. If you want to go to a different destination you can not use that ticket. You should contact your travel agency to see if they perhaps can assist you.

Oh boy. Your ticket is probably a non refundable ticket and if you do not ask the travel agent the limitations on the ticket, they sometimes tend not to tell you.Your best bet would be to write a letter to both your travel agent as well as Virgin and please ignorance and poverty.

As an airline agent, I can tell you that there's nothing you can do. One of the biggest problems, I've come across while dealing with passengers is that they do not read their tickets/itineraries. You should've known this from the beginning
