Hun you should really go to a dermatologist so he/she can help you out with it. I struggled with acne until I was 19- tried everything. Accutane is a great last resort (that's what finally cured me up) but it's a pretty serious medication to go on and you should try everything else availible before going on it. A dermatologist could prescribe you creams, washes, antibiotics, etc. Give one a try.. they're the key to a clear face :-) Good luck

The best thing ever is Murad Acne Clear. I've been using it for years. I tried the ProActiv, but it dries skin out and bleaches clothes. I also think that acne can build up some sort of a resistance to it, because it just stopped working past a certain number of months. I get compliments on my skin all the time, and Dr. Murad is a WORLD RENOWNED dermatologist.

dear z a .. the fact of the matter is some people just get acne...now the best way to combat the thing is to wash your face no less than 3 times a day using a face cloth ..seems like a lot but you have a tall order to fill...the other thing is SEE A DOCTOR ...some types of acne can be stopped or at least controlled by prescription drugs...so get up go ...go now ....see your doctor

The best acne product I have ever used is called clear.now -- it is better than proactive.

You can't get it in stores, but can order it at www.jewel.mychoices.biz

The site is a bit tricky to navigate but you can find the product easily by typing the word "clear" in the search field at the bottom right of the screen.

If you face tends to dry-out and flake, a quick drug store solution is to mix Cortisone (plus with aloe) with some Calamine lotion. Apply this mixture to your face, and massage it in completely.

You may also want to try Aveeno Positively clear, acne moisturizer. Combined with use of a gentle scrub.

this has happened to me too.it's quite embarrasing, but what i've noticed is "the more you hate the acne ,the worse it becomes.juss try some face wash and stick to it.sometimes constantly changing face stuff worsens the acne.hope it clears off soon.juss give it time
