my boyfriend has bought the wedding ring for our wedding in August, but I really like it on my finger and I want to wear it now. Is it bad luck........................... I might get another wedding ring to wear for the wedding, or I might not.

I would't wear it, whats a few more months then you can wear it for life,
It will take the fun out of it, its like finding all your presents before christmas theres nothing to look forward to on the day,

not bad luck, but not really appropriate right now as it's a wedding ring to show you have been married. Why not just enjoy wearing your engagement ring and then once you put the ring on your finger at the wedding, leave it there. If you wear it now you will have nothing to look forward to.

Relationships are not based on luck...But let me tell you a quick story. One of my co-workers & her soon to be husband went to a pawn store and bought a very elegant wedding ring set; both the engagement ring and band for her and him. Well, I asked her why she thought the set was in the "Pawn" shop and told her to think about wearing someone else's memories either good/they died or bad/they went broke or divorced. She said that that idea didn't bother her. Well, it's been almost 4 years since they have married and they broke up 8 months ago. Such bad luck....

Good Luck to you though!

i am not really a superstitious person, but apparently it is bad luck to wear any ring on your wedding finger before you are married.
from a personal perspective i would not want to wear it until the big day as it will have much more significance after the event.

i know it is bad luck to let someone try on your engagement and wedding ring, to be on the safe side i would leave the wedding ring off till the actual day at least you will be playing it safe then plus it will make it that more special when you do get married...

You can't even wait until August to wear your wedding ring cuz it's too pretty? Bloody hell. How spoiled are you?!

It's not really about luck. You aren't married yet. Don't wear the ring.

I dont know correctly whether u can wear it or not...but y dont u wait...
Once u wear the ring now, all the happiness u get by wearing the ring will b over in a second....but if u wait u will b thinking of when that happiest moment will come(where ur happiness lasts for a more time).....Hav more sweet memories!!!!!

No idea and does it really matter. the whole point of a wedding ring is to wear it on your wedding day, not before!!!

This is crazy - The ring signifies marriage - why would you even think of wearing it yet??. If it was me in your shoes, whenever I was alone, I would open the box and just look at it thinking about the significance of the ring, what it means and about the man who was going to put it on my finger.

Dont wear it!!! It makes it so much more special when you start wearing it every day. I bought mine in Feb and got married in aug, and it drove me crazy knowing my beautiful wedding ring was just sat in a box in the bedroom but Im glad I waited. Have fun planning! xx

Don't you have an engagement ring? I wouldn't wear the wedding ring, as you're not married yet.
