"The Canadian Muslim population increased 128.9 percent in the decade beginning in 1991, making Islam the fastest-growing faith in Canada."
Muslim ascendancy in Canada is a harbinger of things to come in America, with potentially enormous impact for both American Jewry and American foreign policy. According to the 1991 Canadian Census, there were 25 percent more Jews in Canada than Muslims. Within a single decade that demographic advantage was erased. According to the 2001 census, the Muslim population of Canada exceeded the Jewish population by 75 percent.
CNN and ABC News recently reported a doubling of the Arab population in the United States in just two decades. The number of Arabs alone (not Muslims in general) is already nearly 1.3 million. For virtually its entire history, Arab immigration was primarily Christian and lopsidedly Lebanese; now it’s virtually all Muslim, with the immigrants’ lands of origin mainly Egypt, the West Bank, and Yemen.

That is a redundant comment by 'sen b' considering the fact that Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Lebanon etc etc are all in turmoil due to one reason or another. These countries are all mainly Muslim. Is the answer to my question something to do with this or not?

Just to let 'Badra' know we do not hear of Christians priests preaching hatred of non Christians in an Islamic country.
We do hear of Imams preaching hatred of infidels.
Why?

Just to enlighten 'zackinstein' it will be Sudan next.
Sudan is hellbent on a policy of genocide against it's own. Just as in Iraq.

Could ‘Afeef’ explain these Suras of the Quran.
Both refer to Polygamy, practised by many in Islam.
[4:3] If you deem it best for the orphans, you may marry their mothers - you may marry two, three, or four. If you fear lest you become unfair, then you shall be content with only one, or with what you already have. Additionally, you are thus more likely to avoid financial hardship.
[4:129] You can never be equitable in dealing with more than one wife, no matter how hard you try. Therefore, do not be so biased as to leave one of them hanging (neither enjoying marriage, nor left to marry someone else). If you correct this situation and maintain righteousness, GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

It's my belief that most are just looking for a better life - one they cannot get in most Muslim countries.
However, it seems here in the UK, when Muslim communities grow there seems to be some kind of invisible religious hierarchy which brow beat the populous down by the use of Islam. This can be only laid down at the Mosques which do not act in the same way as Churches just foe expressions of faith.
In many, Imams are preaching anti western rhetoric through their sermons which restrain the greater part of those communities from assimilating.

Because they know that Christians, unlike them, are a tolerant religion and will allow them to worship in their own way in a Christian country. Try building a Christian church in a Muslim country and see what happens.
I believe that the Muslim nations are emigrating to the Christian world because they can see how their stifling religion is making them miss out on all the luxuries that the Christian nations posses. Like alcohol, drugs, free sex, porn, all the things that we Christians could do without.
I suspect that in 100 years the Muslims will be doing what the Catholics have been doing for 200 years and downgrading the more extreme parts of their religion to allow them to exist in harmony with other religions. The younger generations of Muslims are already rejecting these extreme issues of Islam.
There are other questions here. Why have they left their own wonderful country in the first place and, if they didn't like it there, why do they trying to change every country that they invade into a Muslim state.

First of all, the muslims ar not anti-christian. Most of the muslims moving into western countries are for economic reasons. May be even some of the local people in Canada are converting to Islam after studying it. Islam is a religion of peace and not as depicted by most of the media. To know the truth about Islam one must study the Quran..only then one can know what truly Islam is.

Maybe they're not so anti-Christian until they see how some "Christians" view them?
To think of every inhabitant of Lebanon, or Egypt, or Turkey as a flag-burning West-hater is to make a huge mistake: it is because the majority of the population in these countries are drawn to Western ways that the fundamentalists are so extreme in their hatred of the West.
It's like asking "if Christians hate sex so much, why do they keep sleeping around?". The answer is that as individuals most don't; but their more rabidly conservative leaders do.

That does bother me. Itslike the so many Christians who go to America, yet complain that the country its self is the Anti-Christ. I just feel people shouldn't go where they will be constantly unhappy or uncomfortable because of the culture, tradition, or belief of that country.
So I stay right where I am and am happy about it.

Muslims are not anti-christians... It is the Christians who are anti-semites that hate both jews and Muslims whihc are originally semitic... But the difference is, jews don't dare to revolt or rebel against the christians rulers or freedom eventhough christians are free insult them by calling them a Kyke or Christ killers but muslims...huhuhu... on the other hand dare to revolt or rebel against the christians because muslims is a bit similar like the ancient jewish Zealot . Muslims hold to the concept "do not oppress and do not be oppressed !! "

Firstly muslims are not anti- Christians verses below shows that:
Qur' an
29:46 And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)."
3:64 Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).
1:2 Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
and also if u do some research you will notice that its not all beccause of emigration, but many people are converting to Islam.

Muslims are not anti christian. There are plenty of Christians living in peace loving there Muslim neighbors and Muslims loving and respecting there christian neighbors. Your question is totally redundant.
Your question was not about turmoil in Muslim countries. Your question was "Why do so many Muslims emigrate to christian countries if they are so anti Christian?" Muslims are not anti christian so your question is redundant. The turmoil in these countries has nothing to do with them being anti christian. If you want a different answer, ask a different question.

Maybe because this is supposed to be a place with a separation of church and state. So maybe they're moving not because of religion but because of economic reasons. on't you want the best for your family? Maybe the country they're living in isn't where they feel their best opportunity lies, and if that's the case, who can blame anyone from moving?
