Why do people create "god" just because they don't know the answer to something. Think about it, all this "god" stuff and orginized religion is just a way of manipulating or holding power over people. Also, if "god" is all powerful, why does it need us to worship it. Does it have a low self esteem issue? Why do people abdicate responsibility for thier lives by "turning it over" to this man made creation. What about all of the things that used to be down to "god" but now have scientifically proven reasons for occuring. Why does this "god" allow such bad things to happen, even to "believers". I choose not to align myself with any religious sect, have a very happy and fulfilled life, and am not afraid of what happens after I die. I just shake my head at and pity the the weak "followers" and "believers".

You wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for HIM so you should thank HIM for letting you live in HIS world. And by the way HE loves you very much and will never give up on you , so why do you give up on HIM?

First of all it's your God given right to not choose to believe. We as believers do choose to live by the word of God. We are taught in the word of God that having pride in anything is sinful, it creates an arrogant attitude towards others ,where as we are to have a humble spirit towards each other so we can better serve God. We as believers are also committed to telling others about Christ , so that everyone has a chance to hear the Gospel so they might be saved.

I used to believe heavily untill I read the Bible with an open mind. I'll be respectful of other's beliefs and try not to pop their little bubble they've buried themself in.
There's one story when God kicked Lucifer out of heaven to rule the earth until his second comming.
Ok...For "religion's" sake, let's put some value into what the bible says...That would mean that God has nothing to do with what's happening here. It's not God's will, it's Satan's.
You're right, it's funny that everything is of "God" when people feel helpless and don't really know why. They can't sit well with "poop just happens"

If you dont want to belive in God, than dont. But to look down your nose and belive you are superior to those that do shows a lack of tolerance, human decency, and kindness. You know little about each individual, what they do or do not believe, but instead have chosen to believe ALL of us are like a few you have encountered. I am not weak, I am not afraid of death, I contribute nothing I dont understand to God. I pity that you have lacked the personal knowledge of individuals, and judged as all as a whole.

Perhaps a better question might be, "Why do those who have chosen in their almighty wisdom not to believe in any God or religion spend so much time fretting over those who have chosen to believe?" It would seem to me that you would never give us a second thought.
