This is madness,,,, PC gone mad...... I read today that The Church Of England School are only aloud to serve halal meat as this is what the muslims want!!!!!!

There must be a Halal option each and all of the three hundred and sixty 5 days around for pupils who want it, as there must be for vegetarian, Kosher etc. i do no longer think of the belief of serving a Halal in simple terms Christmas dinner is a physically powerful one, if that's what you mean, by using fact some mothers and fathers are going to merchandise to it, yet there must be an identical Halal and non-Halal Christmas dinner so as that each and all of the scholars can consume it jointly, and of direction with a vegetarian or vegan option.

Well I'm a Muslim and i agree with you its ridiculous. But i have to say there is no harm in the children at the school eating this meat to them it will taste just like any other meat unless you told them they would not know any different. However Muslim children at the school cannot eat lunch served at school because the non halal meat is forbidden for them. So everyone gets to eat the school lunch and there is no harm in that. But i do agree its ridiculous and as a Muslim mother i would never insist a school change its lunch just to suit my child. This is down to PC local government do gooders. No one has ever asked any Muslim parent i know "do you want school lunch meat changed to Halal?" So what Muslims they are referring to wanting this i don't know. It makes me angry as people believe these demands are coming from Muslims and there not. I did not grow up a Muslim i converted 2 years ago, but where i grew up in Glasgow there where plenty of Muslims in my class no one ever made an issue of halal meat. This is just further propaganda to make peoples opinions of Muslims turn to one of intolerance. Muslim people give there kids packed lunches or ask for them to have vegetarian options at school. I wasnt a big deal in the 60's 70's 80's 90's so why in this climate are they making an issue of it now? It comes from local authorities not muslim parents.

Would you have the same complaint if it was only kosher meat allowed? I doubt that.
England needs to lighten up and become part of the global society. The empire has been gone for over a century, get over it!

I don't see where it's really a problem for anyone. I went to a public school in the US in a very Catholic town; the school only served fish on Fridays. I'm not Catholic but...you know, no skin off my nose.
