Ex-husband was convicted of Murder II and I'm trying to find out details of his arrest and conviction. I have called Michigan Court Clerks office and I would have to get records from there, but I live in Oklahoma and that is not possible. Is there another way? Any help would be appreciated.

A lawyer would charge a small fee to get this information and mail it to you. I posted a link below for michigan law. copy and paste to do a search.

Good luck Does he know that you are trying to get a copy of his documents?

Trial transcript is public record... with luck they will have it on DVD or CD-R... (much cheaper) go to the court clerk and ask for it. Copy fee could break you though if it is all hard copy....
