not only hard time but they will turn that someone down immediately for sure. Joining the army includes lot of physical exertion, rigid training and exercises that somebody with severe...especially severe asthma, might not be able to cope up.

Yes, you have to be healthy in the military. You have physical fitness tests that you must pass not only to get in but to stay in. Not to mention, how would it work if you had to go into battle and start having an asthma attack? You could not only put yourself at risk but your comrades with you will be put at risk. Plus you can possibly be stationed in areas where you need a good immune system to adjust to new germs.

Yes and yes, there is absolutely NO WAY they could be admissible. The army can't have soldiers dying from common colds or having asthma attacks in the middle of a battle.
You might be able to get some sort of administrative desk job.
Or become a security guard.

primary immune deficiency syndrome? If you mean like a precursor to aids, hell yes. And asthma, please dont try, i have a soldier that i am in the process of medboarding now with asthma, it is not worth it.

asthma is a disqulifier, had one guy that made it threw basic and half way threw tech school. Was in great shape and was able to outrun just about everyone. But they found out he had astma and he was out in about a month

Yes. A VERY HARD TIME. They probably wouldn't even let that person in. You have to pass a physical. I wanted to join , but they wouldn't let me because I am overweight. I am very healthy otherwise.
