I'm looking for a possible cost range. Have searched online to try to figure this out and had no luck.

depends on time of day that you're traveling - during rush hour and times when the roads will be jammed, the cost and travel time will be much higher. I'd say that the fare will cost you around $15-20, and of course, will be higher if you travel between the hours of 7-10am and 4-7pm.

It could really vary from about $15 to over $30. Taxi prices have risen lately in NYC and during rush hour the traffic is absolutely horrendous. I mean it is really bad. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes just to drive 10 blocks during rush hour. It's much better to take the subway, which will only take 10 minutes.

Depending on traffic and a few other variables (actual distance, route, stop time, time of day, surchages, etc...) it will cost you anywhere from $10 - $15. It should not cost you more than $20, unless you sit in really, really bad traffic.
