I wish we could start up a place. We could meet once a week and have really moving secular music. We could support each other. We could have 'sermons' given by interesting people who have something new and intelligent to say. We could even get the tax-free status of a church so we could build us a nice building with no taxes.

That would be nice.

Most of them have homes of their own, I'm sure...don't they?
No offense, but, if you want to be free from religionism, why would you spend so much time in a forum devoted to religion and spirituality?

the foxes have their burrows and the birds have their nest and the atheist have eternal rest

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air [have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay [his] head... Mt 8:20; Lk 9:58

It's "allegory" & "mystery": allegoric mystery.
The head of the "Son of man" is Law
The head of the "Son of God" is Grace

It's all about Law(Enmity) <-vs-> Grace(Friend):
Enmity: I will forsake you, the city, your fathers... Law
Friend: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee... Grace
Christ is our peace who abolished the enmity(law): Eph 2

Law: God our Destoyer <-vs-> God our Saviour: Grace

"With all thy getting, get understanding" (Solomon: Proverbs 4).
When understanding embraced, thy head crowned with "grace".

"you all" in "the end" includes athiests, and begins with "you":

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
