there are 2 ways to do this
1) drag it to the appropiate drive in My Computer folder
2) right click on file, send to appropiate drive

When you try to save the document, in the name box (will be highlighted when your list of documents comes up), type A:\ and then the name you want it to have (or whatever drive you're sending it to).
If you are starting a new document, immediately rename it A:\ (or D:\) and then the name. Then the document only exists on these drives, not on your hard drive (C:\).
