I don't care for any of that boxed milk. It has to be pasteurized at such a high temp (>180ºF) to be shelf-stable, it just tastes cooked to me. Blech. But they'd probably be good for camping or in a fall-out shelter or something. I certainly wouldn't replace fresh cold milk w/ UHT milk. (Ultra High Temp pasteurization)

I used to live in Europe (Germany) when I was young, so I got used to them. Now I am partial to them. I cannot drink American milk or really cold milk in general- it tastes like detergent to me. My husband and friends think it's disgusting, but everything is an acquired taste.
To each its own.
