I was walking home froma local establishment last evening when to my surprise a great beam of light caught me and a booming voice called out, 'Get out of the middle of the road before you get knocked down', I then heard a great blast on some kind of horn device. I know that this was God calling me to safety what do you think?

I get that alot also. Last time it happened I at some acid and drank a 5th of Mad Dog 20/20.
I did hear GOD, he spoke to me. The only bad thing is I ended up taking a dump in my pants while I slept, and then I started to have a vision of shareware - so I invented Napster so everyone could download porn.

It could have been a police car talking over a loud speaker. And why were you walking in the middle of the road in the first place? But if you truly believe that it was god then i envy you for having faith and something to look towards in times of need.

If God spoke to you then why would you need HELP!!
Obviously (to what you described) he saved you by warning you about the dangers of crossing a road.
It should not matter what we think.We Don't validate you.
I think You should thank God for all he has done and will do in your life.
Plus he has revealed himself to you so be thankful because only a small number of people have the honour

Quick, write a book and get a few 'witnesses' to add their own chapters. Pick a name for your God, get yourself some collection plates and charity boxes, and sit back while the money rolls in. Well that's if you want to go down the 'organised religion' path. Happy Xmas!
