I,ve just pluged in my fibre optic plastic plant which has little lights on it, it stands at 2 feet high, anyway the AC adapter that powers it gets very warm after a while. It says 230-240v on the plug. I noticed that my mothers fibre optic xmas tree has the same plug and it gets quite warm too. Is this dangerous?

Adaptors do get hot when working normally, however they shouldnt get so hot that you cannot touch them. If they do, turn them off immediately;
