Wrap them carefully in airtight containers or Ziploc bags, and put them in the freezer. It's only for a few days but this will keep them fresh. Or if it's cold outside where you are, put them out in your garage or car, or somewhere else where animals won't get them (in the containers or bags) and that will do the same thing. I usually make 12-15 dozen cookies as gifts every Christmas, and I am fortunate to have enough freezer space to store them ahead of time. Usually I start baking right after Thanksgiving, and the cookies keep really well. They will thaw fairly quickly at room temperature, so if you need them on Friday, get them out on Thurs. night and they'll be fine by Friday am.

I would suggest you wait till Thursday night to bake them. Also you might consider a twist on them. Snickerdoodles are similar but much tastier. Here is a site that has a recipe. I like them much better than plain sugar cookies.

Depends! from 20-35 celsius u'd b able to store in a dry box for 3 days but no need to put in a freezer. In a higher temperature well... im not sure but it should be allright in a dry, cool place after all.
Good luck*

You can freeze them. I would not decorate them until later if you are going to decorate. Just make sure it is a air tight container. I freeze cookies all the time and they are just as good as when you first baked them.

Put them in a tin in layers with wax paper between the layers and then stick them in the freezer. They'll last for months this way as long as you don't tell anyone where they are.
Take them out of the freezer 3 or 4 hours before you want to serve them and they should taste pretty good.
Mmmmmmm!

three or four minutes around here. If they are in tupperware or something they'll be fine, but I would wait until wednesday at least to decorate them if you're going to do that
