Make a cheeseball by combining a brick of cream cheese with about 1/2-3/4 cup of Italian dressing. Pour salsa over it for unique tortilla dip. Top with jalapeno jelly for a spicy cracker spread. Add to potato soup. Put in your sugar cookie recipe. That should be a good start!

I usually make cream cheese and horseradish mixed together, and use it as a dip for salmon and raw veggies! A tub of cream cheese and a tablespoon of horseradish! It's really nice.
Another idea is cream cheese, mixed with a tablespoon of mayonnaise, the scooped out flesh of an avocardo pear, mix well, you could blend it, but we prefer the lumpy version .. add salt and pepper and serve with a couple of pringles!!

Cream cheese makes a great base for most pates - and because its light and creamy you dont end up with a heavy pate which leaves you too full!

Take smoked mackeral, and mash it into cream cheese. Add a splsoh of brandy, some black pepper and salt, grated lemon and orange rind and a touch of juice. Serve with melba toast.

You can also lighten shop bought pate, and make it seem more home made, by adding cream cheese, pepper, splosh of brandy and some orange juice + grated rind. Delicious.

Spread on smoked salmon and roll it up into a cylinder, then slice it through to make little roundels of smoked salmon.

Or add it to a home made soup to give it a luxurious taste and creaminess.

Blitz up in a blender a load of smoked salmon slices with the cream cheese. Squeeze in some lemon, season it with cracked black pepper and sea salt. Turn it out into small terraine dishes and refridgerate until needed. Serve with a small rocket side salad.

Put a block of cream cheese in a dish w/ a bit of a side to it. (like an oval baker) Top w/ either: strawberry preserves, Pickapeppa Sauce, Pineapple Preserves mixed w/a bit of horseradish, or any Pepper Jelly... and serve w/ Ritz or Wheat Thins crackers.

Get two small cans of shredded crab meat. Fold the crab meat into the softened cream cheese. Put this mixture in a bowl and top with cocktail sauce. Chill and serve with almost any kind of crackers (not Ritz).

Use poached salmon and a little finely chopped smoked salmon and dill. Blend them with the cheese until smooth. Put in ramekins or moulds and chill. You can garnish with a swizzle of marie rose sauce and some prawns.

This makes a really nice pate with toast- a nice alternative to prawn cocktail.
