It will take him awhile to figure out and accept the fact that maybe he is wrong and someone else may be right.

Just satisfying the paranoids and Monday morning quarterbacks posted here would take the wisdom of Solomon, and then some. In Vietnam there were ideas and programs in place that could have won that war. They were largely lost in the noise of all the bigger actions. Now we have another complicated situation with no clear, obvious, answers, and you're in a hurry to commit? He's been tactically flexible and I'm sure will continue to do so. Strategic and operational changes are normally on a longer time line, so give the guy a break! If you had ever been even at the level of field-grade command (battalion to brigade level), I doubt you'd be posting this question.

it's not that Bush is getting bad intelligence. He is meeting every objectives he has secretly set with CIA covert opps.
Look at Ammas and Habbas in the Gaza strip. Civil war is breaking out according to MOSSAD (Israel covert opps). Israeli operation a great success.
Divide an conquer!!! The Iraquis are divided and at war with each other... Islamic Sunnis killing Islamic Shiias. Oblective accomplished, operation success.
The USA doesn't want democracy in Iraq... the majority of Iraquis hate Americans. They vote for anti-American laws. The CIA destroyed democracy in Iran on August 19, 1953 in operation Ajax. Now America's Bushco wants democracy... what a joke!!!

Ok, now think.
What group or what individual should he listen to first, second, third, fiftiety, hundredth, and so forth?
Only when Sept. 11, 2001 happened, did the USA have to act fast and swift to stop the terrorists (who are not all gone by the way, just some are gone).
If he makes snap decisions, they may call him someone who doesn't think and "shoots from the hip".
I personally believe our troops should come home and help to fix our problems at home.
In the Bible it says something about sweep your own house first, before you go and help sweep your neighbors.
Why are we sending billions $$ overseas and yet we tell our seniors and low income people that social security and medicare is a mess? Let's help those who need it most, children, elderly, and the infirm or disabled, and that includes our wounded troops coming home - can we at least get them jobs and health insurance guarantees?
GOD bless us one and all, always

Some of you liberals amuse me to no end.
You criticize Bush for making too hasty a decision, and then criticize him for not making hasty decisions.
