I was going to get my boyfriend a video ipod for christmas. but recently, we have been fighting A LOT and on the verge of breaking up. should i still spend so much money on him? or should i get him something else? what are other gift ideas? please help! thanks :)

Go ahed and get it. If it does work out, it's his gift(and you think that your relationship will last). If you break-up, keep it for your self. Enjoy it.
NOTE: If you think he's just staying with you for the gifts, BREAK-UP.
Other gift ideas would be vidieo games(if he already has the
PS2, Xbox, Ect.),

If you are on the verge of breaking up I would not spend that much money. Find a gift $100 and lower

Think about what you just wrote.
If you think the relationship is on the verge or sinking, don't go crazy and buy him something expensive and then be out $300 when u guys break up the next week. If you see your relationship going anywhere then you should buy him something less crazy like a movie or something. If not, then why even waste your money?

Yeah you should never get your girlfriend/boyfriend something much more expensive that 50 bucks unless you have been going out for a long time. And if you think you are going to break up soon and ipod is not the best choice. Get him a nice card and a little something that he would like. Oh and if you are worried about your relationship you should talk to him about it.
